Conceiving a Girl – Old Wives Tales

There’s an old wives tale (or ten) that relates to every possible topic under the sun and of course when it comes to things you should do to conceive a girl instead of a boy there are plenty. Some of them may even have a little validity to them but others are simply strange. Here are some of the most commonly known and handed down things that folklore has it you should be doing to conceive a girl:

Both partners should eat a lot of fish and vegetables and avoid red meat

Moms to be should eat a lot of chocolate

Only have intercourse in the afternoon, preferably on day that there will be a full moon that night.

Only have intercourse on even numbered days of the month

The woman should seduce the man, not the other way around.

Only a calm and collected woman can conceive a girl

Women must climax first while thinking pink thoughts.

So now ladies you are a little confused right? But try to stay calm and remember, all you have to do is get your partner home for lunch, serve a large plate of salmon and veggies whilst dressed in your best Victoria’s Secret and make sure you are the one getting satisfied first. What’s so complicated about all that? (You’re right, there has to be an easier way to figure out how to conceive a girl!)
